Our investment philosophy is rooted in academic evidence, deep research, and discipline. We prioritize diversification, a long track record, low costs, and tax efficiency. This leads us to broad-market indexing as the core of the portfolio with thoughtful use of low-cost factor strategies, such as company size, value, and profitability where they add value.
All of this is personalized to you and based on when you need the money, how you emotionally handle risk, and your capacity to take risk. From there, we create an investment policy statement together which guides your allocation and our ongoing management which you sign, and we follow.

Investment management is the process of designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining your accounts and investment portfolio according to the Investment Policy Statement (IPS) you approve with us.
It is not stock-picking, frequent trading, or trying to time the market.
Learn more about what investment management means at TapestryFP.
Investment management at TapestryFP is an ongoing, continuous process, not a one-time event or something we only do when the market is volatile. We monitor your portfolio weekly through automated systems and perform more detailed reviews and management activities every quarter.
For example, if we are trying to simplify a highly complex or concentrated portfolio, there is more work to be done, more often. If you are transferring assets, we need to design a reinvestment plan, so effort is concentrated around that event.
We adjust your accounts back to the right mix at least quarterly, or whenever the mix of investments drifts more than 5% from the plan. Whenever dividends are paid, investments mature, or new cash comes into the account we are aware and reinvest it as appropriate.
