Founder and Financial Planner

My financial planning philosophy grew out of real-life experiences that led me into this profession and taught me the financial and life principles that matter when helping clients. Here are several of them:

Grew up in a financially comfortable home yet still battled fears of not having enough.
Remember new Roth IRAs in the 90s but didn't think I could afford to invest.
Invested after college, watched it drop through the dot-com bust and Great Financial Crisis, and bailed.
Married Tanya in 2003, spent seven years as missionaries, raising our young sons and making it work on little income.
Tempted to refinance our house for renovations but paid off all debt instead.
Interviewed advisors after unexpected wealth and learned what I want in an advisor.
