This conviction leads us to use total-market index funds as the core of the portfolio because they deliver excellent diversification across thousands of companies worldwide, extremely low costs, and strong long-term results for the vast majority of investors.

Where the academic evidence is particularly strong, and it aligns with your personal goals and appetite for risk, we thoughtfully incorporate factor exposures, such as undervalued companies, small-company, and profitability, to potentially enhance returns over time.

Fixed Income Investments

Fixed income and cash holdings serve a different and equally important purpose. These allocations preserve your money, address unexpected needs & emergencies, and generate income when appropriate. Instead of chasing higher yields, we carefully match the maturity and risk level of these investments to when you will spend those dollars.

We do not make emotional decisions or trade frequently. Instead, we collaboratively create a thoughtful, personalized Investment Policy Statement (IPS), and stick to it through market cycles. The IPS becomes our mutual roadmap for all investment

recommendations and ongoing portfolio management.

Importantly, we invest our own money using the exact same philosophy and strategies we recommend to you.
